Get your ice cream

Enjoy your ice cream at the very spot where it’s made.

Each day at the farm our ice cream maker begins by making all of our specialty ingredients from scratch—from berry compotes to crunchy meringues to Spotted Duck’s original chocolate chip cookies—before stirring the goodness into each small batch of custard. By the time you arrive, all that’s left is to sit back and enjoy!

Not sure where to start? Unique to Spotted Duck is our special flight option. It’s the easiest way to try each original flavor and share the love, joy, and deliciousness with your family and friends (it’s surprisingly easy to finish solo as well.) Ask for the flight and we will take care of the rest; problem solved.

Feed the farm animals

Come meet the flock of ducks, a dozen chickens, one peafowl, and a solitary goose (who thinks he’s a duck).

You don’t have to be a kid to ask for ‘duck sprinkles’ at the pick up window. Our ducks eat a blend of organic soybeans, peas, fishmeal, small grains, and minerals bought locally from Lakeview Organic Grain. Our animals enjoy all the pleasures of farm life, with spacious pastures to roam by day and a warm barn to sleep in at night.

In the heart of the Finger Lakes

Come to Spotted Duck and leave with more than just ice cream.

We are situated on the west side of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, amongst some of the region’s best wineries, breweries, cider houses, and distilleries. Burn off those liquid calories by exploring the multitude of gorgeous hiking and bicycling trails, and don’t miss exploring the region by boat! There are many options around Seneca Lake to rent pontoons, kayaks, SUPs, and more. Stroll through the historic village of Penn Yan, less than five miles to our west, and sample specialty coffee, go thrift shopping, and find out what world record they are famous for. Let it be the gateway to your exploration of quaint Keuka Lake, or drive north to the young, vibrant college town of Geneva for some bar hopping and the diverse culinary scene. We have so many favorites, so please don’t hesitate to ask for our recommendations!
